A New Engine Option for the Bagger Class

A year or two ago, I threw out the idea of taking our Derringer Big Block engine cases and designing a new engine combination for the Bagger guys that could be adapted to those chassis. After many, many hours of design and prototyping, the engines are now a reality and the necessary parts needed to put these engines into those chassis is very close to reality. The engine pictured is the first of these new engine combinations. A 196 cubic inch, 45 degree V-Twin, 15.5 to 1 compression designed to be normally aspirated, injected on Methanol. The second of these engines we are currently building is a 156 cubic inch engine designed to be injected Methanol and turbo charged.  Stay Tuned Race Fans. JV
