The Big Hunt 2021!

One thing my grandson, Hunter and I do each winter (whenever we can) is get together and go Deer hunting. This has been a family tradition since I was old enough to go with my father. Hunter and I have been doing this every winter we could since he was 8 years old and I had to pack him thru the snow. Hunter in now in ROTC in Louisiana and managed to get a little time off, so we got him a flight up and hit the woods. Hunter bagged this nice 5-point on the third day of hunting, letting many of the younger bucks walk. It was great to spend time with him. Earlier in the season, I bagged a nice 9-point on a very cold NC morning. JV
