It's summer vacation for all the kids, this means we have a house full of grandkids, neices and nephews. It is a time we all look forward to. One of the things that we always work on while they are here are the projects. I give them all a project of their interest and a goal in efforts to give them some work experience and confidence in their ability. Jadyn's project is the 1971 Dodge Swinger, so we are back on it. Our goal for this summer is to complete the disassembly and cataloging of the car componets and get the body to the dipper to have it chemically stripped and rust prevention applied. In the process there are always discoverys. We located two build sheets and also removed the fender tag and decoded it. It is cool to go back in time with these documents to see the history of the car.
