It was a very good weekend for Hawaya Racing at Rockingham!

The weather forecast for the AHDRA Rockingham event looked dim, but that did not stop the show by any means. Our test session on Thursday rained out, but Friday's weather greatly improved allowing for a AHDRA test & tune session. Many teams took advantage of this as the race was going to be condensed into a Saturday, one day only show. In Pro Fuel Sam White on Terminater 2 qualified #1 and went on to win the event over Jim Martin. In Nitro Funny Bike Tii Tharpe came away with the victory in a good showing of bikes. In Top Fuel Ryan Perry qualified #1, but it was the return of Tim Kerrigan on the Hawaya Racing built Top Fueler that stole the show. After a  pause in racing the TKR team was on a mission. In the final race of the event, Tim lit the win light against a strong running Tracy Kyle giving our Top Fuel Stage-2 engine it"s first national event win. Congratulations to all the teams. JV
